Kevin R. O'Neill

Kevin O’Neill has nearly 20 years of search industry and consulting experience and specializes in middle to senior level retained search for a "who’s who" of corporate clients. His reputation as a trusted adviser to "C-level" executives has consistently ranked him as one of the nation’s top producing retained search consultants. Kevin’s previous experience includes roles within Investment Banking firms of Merrill Lynch & Co. and Kidder, Peabody and with a Philadelphia-based retained executive search firm.

Kevin is a married father of four children, sits on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, was a past Board member of both the YMCA of Greater Providence and of the South County branch and is an active member of Thomas More parish. When not working or spending time in family activities, Kevin trains for road races and triathlons and spends time volunteering.

Brooke Flanagan

Brooke Flanagan has been in the recruiting industry since 2006.  Prior to joining the firm, Brooke graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1996 with a Bachelor in Biology and a minor in Sociology.  From 1999 to 2006, she worked as the Organic Quality Control Manager at Ultra Scientific in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.  She was responsible for supervising the Quality Control Group and managed a staff of five.  Brooke entered the recruiting industry when she started at the Mergis Group (a division of Spherion) in 2006.  There, she specialized in Information Technology Recruiting for both contract and permanent positions in the Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts area. 

As a Senior Associate Associate, Brooke has responsibilities in all aspects of retained executive search.  She deals with an array of positions from Senior Managers to C-level executives, across multiple industries both nationally and internationally.

Oliver Poor

Oliver Poor joined O’Neill Consulting Group as an Associate, bringing with him over five years of recruiting experience with a specialty in Accounting & Finance. Oliver deals with Senior Manager to C-level executives across multiple industries both nationally and internationally.   

Prior to beginning his recruiting career, Oliver was part of the fraternal order of Delta Kappa Epsilon and majored in International Relations at The Maxwell School at Syracuse University.  Oliver has been an active member in the Leukemia Lymphoma Society since 2005 and was the State Walk Chairman for their Light the Night Philanthropy that same year.  He and his family have also been supporting Swim Across America since 2009. Oliver is married and resides in Warwick, RI.

Kaylen Shimoda

Kaylen Shimoda joined O’Neill Consulting Group as the Junior Associate, Communications. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Women’s Studies.  She was a member of the URI Women’s Soccer team where she graduated as part of the Atlantic 10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Second All-Star team.  In her last semester, she was a Teacher’s Assistant for JOR 110, and has also been a part of Travel Week as a Staff Writer/Intern and the trade magazine for travel agents in Toronto.  

As a Junior Associate, Kaylen assists in all aspects of the retained executive search process.  Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Kaylen is the youngest of three.

Heidi Steele

Heidi Steele serves as the Project Manager at OCG. She graduated from the College of Charlestown in South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Tourism.  Heidi worked at Orient-Express Hotels as their Luxury Service Coordinator for a year and a half before spending 8 months travelling the world.

At O'Neill Consulting, Heidi is in charge of ensuring that all processes are being followed properly and flowing efficiently.  She facilitates the behind the scenes organization of the company’s scheduling and the recruitment process.

Lori Partington

Lori Partington studied Human Resource Management at Bryant University while also earning a Certificate in Computer Science.  Prior to O’Neill Consulting Group, Lori worked with Steere House Nursing as the Benefits/Payroll Manager in their HR Department.  After 7 years with Steere House, she transitioned to Sweenor Builders, where she was the Office Manager for 6 years.  Today, she works at OCG as the Administrative Manager/Assistant Controller.  Her main responsibilities include billing, payables, receivables, payroll and benefits administrator.

Lori grew up in Pawtucket, RI and is now living in Charlestown, RI with her husband, a Captain on the Narragansett Fire Department and their son Zachary.

Alexandra Prendergast

Allie Prendergast graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Communications and a minor in Business.  During her time at URI, Allie was an HR intern at 1149 Restaurant and also at URI’s Office of Internships and Experiential Education as the HR intern with additional responsibilities in its marketing department.  Allie remained active in the University community as she worked in the Communications Department Speaking Center and was a Teacher’s Assistant for the university’s COM 100 class. 

At O’Neill Consulting Group, Allie is the Junior Associate, Special Projects where she is responsible for scheduling, administrative work and additional research tasks.  Born and raised in Somerset County, New Jersey, Allie is the youngest of seven.

Jamie Mercurio

Jamie Mercurio graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Communication Studies and a concentration in Visual Communication and Media.  During her career at URI, Jamie was a ballet and pointe teacher for the URI Dance Company and sang in the University’s chorus.  She was also a campus tour guide and worked in the URI Office of International Education as a marketing, graphic design and web design assistant. 

Prior to O’Neill Consulting Group, Jamie was a Marketing Coordinator at Westerly Community Credit Union.  She joined OCG as the Junior Associate, Recruiting where she implements her graphic design background to create proposal presentations for potential clients.  She also assists Associates in all aspects of recruiting.  Born in York Harbor, Maine; Jamie now resides in Carolina, RI.
