The Warrior
A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and proud father, Oliver has learned to face any situation—no matter how tough—with discipline, flexibility, and care. He uses these same principles to smoothly move along searches until he attains the perfect hire. Add in good technique, a strong grip of each client’s situation, and his uncanny ability to understand what makes candidates tick. It would be remiss not to mention his morning routine as another secret to his success (which could have easily been designed by a Special Forces sergeant): 4:20am wake-up, 90-minutes of lifting, and guaranteed to be the first person in the office.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Special Forces (US Navy Seals)
Oliver has more than 15 years of experience as a recruiter and advisor to executives of consumer, industrial, and private equity firms. At O’Neill Consulting, he spearheads searches from start to finish, closely aligning clients, candidates, and internal team-members. He is also well-regarded for his ability to lead large recruitment initiatives. No matter the project, Oliver’s focus is singular: delivering candidates who can rapidly scale and reshape organizations.
Prior to joining O’Neill Consulting in 2011, Oliver was the co-founder and managing partner of an industrial manufacturing equipment business, serving a range of domestic and international clients. He spent the rest of his career in the recruitment space, learning the intricacies of client relationship management, assessment, and research. Oliver majored in International Relations at The Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Oliver is married and the proud father of two children. He is an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, a former State Chairman for the Leukemia & Lymphoma’s Light the Night Charity, and an active supporter of Swim Across America.
