O’Neill Consulting Group is proud to have supported Maxion Wheels in recruiting Bill Wardle as Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. The search was led by Kevin R. O’Neill, President and CEO

NOVI, Mich. (July 16, 2014) – Maxion Wheels, a leading worldwide producer of aluminum and steel wheels, announced today that Bill Wardle has joined its team as Vice President – Global Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Bill Wardle will lead Maxion’s global sales and marketing team, responsible for expanding the company’s business throughout Europe, South America, North America, Asia, and Africa and building key relationships with customers in the marketplace. Bill reports to Fred Bentley, Maxion Wheels CEO.

The search for Maxion’s new Head of Global Sales & Marketing was conducted by retained executive search firm O’Neill Consulting Group, and led by Kevin R. O’Neill, founder and CEO. “We are pleased that Fred Bentley and Maxion entrusted us with this important assignment. We are confident that Bill will have an enormous positive impact on the company and its future growth,” said O’Neill.

Bill has over 15 years’ experience representing companies in the automotive industry within a variety of commercial roles including R&D and Program Management. Most recently, he was the Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Magna Exteriors, Interiors, and Seating. Prior to Magna, Bill served as Global Director of Program Management with Oxford Automotive, Vice President of Sales and Project Management for ISI Automation, and several engineering and leadership positions for Vauxhall Motors (General Motors Europe).

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electric engineering from Liverpool Polytechnic, as well as a Certificate in Business Administration and Diploma in Business Administration from Liverpool University.
