Heather’s personality can be described in three words: get it done. Heather is known as being a strong and direct communicator. She flourishes most when her calendar is full and thrives off the energy and ambition of others. Aside from having a full calendar, she also has a full heart when it comes to her family. Growing up as an only child in a small town, Heather spent lots of quality time amidst her large extended family, one that spans many generations – including great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Heather is a search lead at O’Neill Consulting, overseeing the execution and development of the research team.
In tandem, Heather is a principal at Acertitude, specializing in operational searches within the Consumer & Industrial practices. Her rich experience includes two decades as an executive search professional, president, and operations leader. Prior to the Acertitude Group, Heather spent seven years as an associate practice leader at a boutique executive search firm. Here, she focused on consumer, retail, industrial manufacturing, and PE/asset management.
Her earlier career was spent leading a training and development firm. She applies these same skills today to the coaching and development of O’Neill Consulting’s associates and analysts. She holds a B.S. from Guilford College in Business Management and Finance.
Heather has lived in North Carolina her entire life; she’s made a variety of locations across this state her home – and has lived near the mountains, at the coast, and in between. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her “crazy” silver lab Roxy, watching her son play one of many sports he loves like soccer, volleyball, tennis, or golf, and attending her local CrossFit gym. She also has a personal passion for reading whatever she can get her hands on about nutrition, health, and fitness.
