Q&A with Kristan

1. Tell us about your path here. Why did you choose to join O'Neill Consulting?

Over the years, I have heard my good friend Paula Bradley, our research director, passionately talk about O’Neill Consulting and the work that they do. So in 2019, I was thrilled to learn about an available position as project coordinator and seized the opportunity to apply. I had spent the past seven years managing the front office for one of the largest providers of medical imaging in Rhode Island. At that point in my career, I was ready to utilize my project management skills to enhance the candidate and client experience.

2. Describe a day in the life of Kristan. Favorite parts of your job?

The bulk of my day consists of scheduling client and candidate calls, updating our database, running reports, and managing deliverables. In a nutshell, the favorite part of my job is the ability to utilize my brain in different ways throughout the day. Whether it is a new search or an ongoing project, you are constantly challenged to prioritize and focus on delivering quality results.

3. What is special about working here?

What I find special about working here is the collaborative work environment. Have a question? Ask it. Need advice? Reach out. Here, your role does not define the support you can provide and receive. Everyone is enthusiastically working together to achieve the same goal — unleashing human potential.

4. How has O'Neill Consulting helped you grow and perform at your best?

I am encouraged to explore or bring something new to the table. Each step of the way, you are always provided the necessary resources, insights, and support to succeed.

5. In what ways — big or small — do you live out our mission of unleashing human potential?

Every day I live our mission by owning my development. To me, this means always learning, holding myself accountable, listening, and asking questions when you might be uncertain.

6. What advice do you have for people looking to join O'Neill Consulting? What qualities do people need to be successful here?

O’Neill Consulting is not a traditional corporate environment. We are a family, and always happy to provide support whenever necessary. To be successful at our firm, you have to be a self-starter, and be ready to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of our clients.
