Q&A with Zach

1. Tell us about your path here. Why did you choose to join O'Neill Consulting?

Before joining the team, I gained five years of experience in a regional placement search firm. At the time, I was aspiring to expand my industry expertise and grow my career. I saw an opportunity to work with extremely talented, open-doored leaders that wanted to support my development. How could I say no?

2. Describe a day in the life of Zach. Favorite parts of your job?

With the nature of this business, no day is the same. But one thing I can say with confidence is that every single day our focus is driving organizational transformation and unleashing the full potential for our clients’ organizations.

My job is to help our clients scale their middle-management and executive teams by sourcing top candidates with targeted research. I love the chance to support and build relationships with some of the most brilliant individuals in the world on a day-to-day basis.

3. What is special about working here?

Our leadership team has done a tremendous job of building a culture of connection and empowerment. They create a positive mindset that inspires everyone around them to take extreme ownership for the work that they do. There is truly something special about being on a team that is transparent, real, and allows you to continually develop.

4. How has O'Neill Consulting helped you grow and perform at your best?

I have never been more curious and eager to take in new information. Within our industry, it is common for things to be transactional, but our team has helped me focus on building lifelong relationships, asking the right questions, and never stop learning.

5. In what ways — big or small — do you live out our mission of unleashing human potential?

Never a day goes by where I do not think or ask how I can do my best to unleash human potential. It has inspired me to continue to build strong relationships by putting time and effort into the little things and staying connected with our team.

6. What advice do you have for people looking to join O'Neill Consulting? What qualities do people need to be successful here?
