As the founder and chairman of O’Neill Consulting, Kevin provides strategic direction and works closely with the leadership team to ensure the fulfillment of brand promises and client commitments. He is recognized as a trusted advisor to many of the world’s top board members, CEOs, and C-suite executives, having successfully led over 2,000 searches for prominent companies and private equity firms on global scale.
Kevin founded O’Neill Consulting in 1996 with the mission of filling the most critical and impactful roles in businesses. With well over two decades of experience, the firm has a proven track record of addressing clients’ mid- and senior management leadership needs by forming strategic partnerships, guiding them through multiple leadership transitions and business evolutions, and cultivating a true client-for-life mentality.
In 2015, building on the success of O’Neill Consulting, Kevin co-founded Acertitude with the goal of unlocking the human potential of leading organizations through discovering, connecting, and empowering exceptional talent at the Board, CEO, and senior leadership levels.
Kevin is a board member of Avishkar Holdings, a biotech investment firm, and was a board member and founder of Cargenix, a clinical-stage CAR-t cell immunotherapy company, which was sold to a strategic buyer.
Active in public service, Kevin serves as trustee of his alma mater, Marietta College, trustee of the Bryant University College of Business Deans Council, and director on the board of the World War II foundation. Previously, Kevin served as regional Chairman of the Board for the American Heart Association and the YMCA of Greater Providence.
Outside of work, Kevin devotes his time to his wife, his four children, and his community. When his whirlwind schedule permits, you’ll find Kevin in activities ranging from enjoying a cigar while boating along the New England coastline to aggressively training for road races and triathlons.
